Setting: we're eating lasagna...the version that uses cottage cheese instead of ricotta cheese.
Michael: "Look mom! There's little marshmallows in my dinner!"
Needless to say, he actually ate all of his dinner tonight. Maybe we should put "marshmallows" in a few other entrees. :)
As for other news:
Here's the progress on our lawn.
The grass is coming up better than we thought it would, despite our
little upset, but now the weather is quickly dropping in temperature, so its growth time is about over. :(
Dan turned 31! Holy smokes, he's old! :)
The kids made handmade cards for him, he got an alarm clock with "soothing nature" sounds to wake him up, instead of the heart-attack-beeping that our current alarm gives us. He also got a picture frame with the kids' recent pictures for his office.
Dan almost gave Chelsea a broken nose!
okay, it was more of an accident than anything. They were playing, and Dan tossed her on the bean bag, and her knee made contact with her face. IT bruised pretty bad, but nothing broke. The day after it happened, we asked her to tell us what happened, as she would be going to school, and we didn't want "authorities" contacting us. She said "Dad threw me." We had to help her with her word choice before she ran off to school... :)
Chelsea got her ears pierced!
I've always told her she can get them whenever she wants, but she's always been too scared. A few weeks ago, she asked if she could get them done, so in between the Saturday sessions of conference, Grandma Perry and I took her to the mall. I think it hurt her more than she expected, but now she loves the fact that there are holes in her ear, and she can't feel a thing!
I could tell she was nervous, but I was proud of her for going through with it!

Grandma made the smart suggestion of getting a treat to get her mind off of her ears until the "shock" wore off. What doesn't ice-cream cure?

Brinly is still the cutest thing ever.
She learned how to roll from her back to her stomach yesterday. :( A very sad day for me as I realize the inevitable is happening....my baby is growing up.
Her 4 month check up:
weight: 13.7 lbs (dropped to 68 percentile) there goes my chubby baby. :(
height: 25" (increased in percentile)
